Acclaimed cabaret singer Katie McGrath presents her first solo show since returning home to St. Louis after years of living and performing in Manhattan. McGrath’s “One Degree from Elvis” is all about shameless namedropping of famous people known by people she knows, such as Elvis, Pope John Paul II, Tina Turner, Ringo Starr and more. Why did she return to St. Louis? “The same reason so many of us come back. I was terribly homesick. I missed my people. I missed the food. I missed living in an apartment larger than a closet.” Patrick DeGennaro is Music Director.
