Kelsie Ward: Shifting Densities

Kelsie Ward’s work in sculpture and immersive installation is focused on rock and glacier formations. She utilizes artificial materials as a means to facilitate a conversation regarding human’s relationship to nature. Additionally, she explores shifts in dimensional space; the relationship between the natural and the synthetic; and awareness of self and repetition. She has exhibited both locally and nationally, completed artist residencies in Iceland and and has served as a visiting instructor at Kentucky State University.
