Sara Lorentz & Misato Pang: Landscape Inspired by Wallace Herndon Smith

Inspired by Wallace Herndon Smith and his dedication to painting, specifically to his practice of painting on location and outdoors throughout his career, the exhibition features the work of Sarah Lorentz, who taught The Sheldon’s first plein air classes this summer, and local artist Misato Pang. Lorentz received a B.F.A. from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and teaches watercolor classes and exhibits nationally. Pang received an M.F.A. from New York Studio School and has exhibited nationally. Sponsored by The Bellwether Foundation.
