Singer-songwriter Sophie Carpenter began her career playing guitar, singing originals and folk songs at Europa Cafe in St. Louis’ Central West End. Through the years she sang with 3 local bands. “I sang anything they wanted me to, from Country Rock to Motown and in any key just to have a chance to sing.” It was her passion for songwriting that took her to Santa Cruz where she lived in an RV at the beach for 12 years writing and co-producing material for 6 CDs.
