South Carolina natives and Billboard chart-toppers Ranky Tanky, along with Dom Flemons, the Grammy-winning co-founder of the Carolina Chocolate Drops, perform the timeless music of The Gullah culture. From playful game songs to ecstatic shouts, from heartbreaking spirituals to delicate lullabies, Ranky Tanky presents a joyful celebration of this African-American music, born in South Carolina’s low country.
