St. Louis Piano Summit: Ethan Leinwand, Christopher Parrish, and Chase Garrett

Three of St. Louis’ best blues, boogie-woogie, jazz, etc. piano players take the stage at the Focal Point in what promises to be the most fun summit meeting in history! There will be two pianos on stage (courtesy of Jackson Pianos), and it’ll be up to these irrepressible three to decide what to do with them. Ethan Leinwand is a St. Louis-based barrelhouse blues pianist and preservationist. Christopher Parrish is a jazz pianist; he prides himself on his virtuoso technique, power and breadth as an improviser. Speaking in terms of genre, his greatest passion lies not in any one style.
