Dumplings and Tea Serves Delicious Northern Chinese Fare in Chesterfield

When it comes to Chinese food, it's hard to beat a dumpling for deliciousness. And the northern-style dumplings and bao at Dumplings and Tea (137 Chesterfield Towne Center, Chesterfield; 636-778-9090) go a long way toward proving that.

Owners Weiquan Jiang, Zixuan Hu and Yanlai "Auntie" Zhang offer a focused menu of bao zi, dumplings, ramen, poke bowls and bubble tea that are available in various permutations. RFT Dining Critic Cheryl Baehr loved their pan-fried pork dumplings, which have a deeply meaty flavor highlighted with just enough ginger; the green and white onion dumplings, which have a prominent vegetable element; and the fried leek dumplings, which she said were especially noteworthy.
