The Best Things to Eat at City SC’s Citypark Stadium in 2024, According to Sauce

St. Louis City SC is back for its sophomore season in Major League Soccer (MLS), and the soccer club’s Citypark continues to set the standard for American stadium food, with fans able to eat from over 20 independent St. Louis restaurants as part of the matchday experience. Such a rich representation of the diversity of a city's local restaurant scene is unheard of in major league sports. Not every sports fan has it this good!

Although a few local restaurants from the 2023 season lineup have not returned for the new season, City SC’s City Flavor program (led by Chief Experience Officer Matt Sebek and Niche Food Group’s Gerard Craft) has recruited well, enhancing its roster of restaurant vendors with names ranging from Olive + Oak, Olio and Medina Mediterranean Grill to Sunday Best, Saucy Porka and Seoul Taco.

Here’s a look at where we'll be eating on matchdays this season, along with some of the top items on each restaurant’s menu.

Blending Asian and Latin American cuisines, this CityPark newcomer’s “bacos” (a snack-sized taco served in a bao bun) are served with Panang curry chicken and Asian slaw, or guajillo pork with pineapple slaw. Sold individually, they’re some of the most inexpensive items in the stadium at just above $6.

You can always opt for the classic al pastor tacos – pork marinated with onion and pineapple and served with onion and cilantro in a corn tortilla – but the tacos de papa, with potato, lettuce, cheese and sour cream served inside a crispy corn tortilla sound like a winner. Whatever you choose, don’t miss their frozen house margaritas to wash it down.

Whether you want the Amighetti’s special sandwich – their version of a classic Italian sub loaded with ham, roast beef, salami and Provel balanced with pepperoncini, pickles and onions – or the turkey and Provel or veggie sandwiches, they are bringing the familiar flavors of The Hill to CityPark.
