The '90s were alive and well on the Mississippi riverfront over the weekend. The “I LOVE THE '90s!” Tour took place at the Alton Amphitheater in Alton, Illinois, and featured hip-hop and R&B legends Tag Team, All 4 One, Rob Base and, as headliner, Vanilla Ice.
Tag Team got the crowd pumped with “Whoomp! There it is,” All 4 One serenaded attendees with “I Swear,” and Rob Base took us back with “It Takes Two.”
Vanilla Ice brought the party by inviting guests on stage, dousing them with water, and bumping and grinding to “Ice Ice Baby” and the “Ninja Rap.” In between classic hits and new material, Robert Van Winkle a.k.a Vanilla Ice reminded us all that the '90s had the last great generation “before computers and Fortnite dances ruined the world.”
