Located just a 45-minute drive from downtown St. Louis, the Original Springs Hotel is for sale and it’s begging for someone to buy it, paint it pink, and live out their Wes Anderson hotelier dreams.

Established in 1867, the hotel has four wells on the 2.65 acre property. Mineral water was bottled there and sold until the 2000s. The spot was famous for its mineral bathhouse and spa, which featured massage rooms and a sauna.

The listing agent selling this spot, Susan Kroll at Property Peddler, Inc., says that if you open the hatch in the conference room floor you’ll find a well that is 18 feet deep and more than 20 feet wide. The water there is loaded of beneficial minerals like magnesium and zinc, and she says you can see the gorgeous mineral crystals blooming in the water.
