St. Louis Restaurants We've Lost So Far in 2022 [PHOTOS]

COVID-19, supply-chain issues, worker shortages, rising costs and the grind of an often-difficult industry closed the doors at too many restaurants across greater St. Louis in 2022. We lost some long-time favorites and some that had barely gotten the chance to make their marks upon the region's dining scene.

Soul food restaurant Sweetie Pie's Upper Crust closed its doors in September. Sweetie Pie's was in the national news this year because owner Robbie Montgomery's son, James "Tim" Norman, was convicted in a murder-for-hire plot that killed her grandson Andre Montgomery Jr.
