This Abandoned Missouri Jail Is Going Be Turned Into an Airbnb [PHOTOS]

What would you pay to stay overnight in a jail? $50? $200? Well, many of us would pay that much to stay out of a jail overnight but you do you.

This abandoned prison in Harrisonville, Missouri, has a big future as an Airbnb and entertainment center.

Located on the town square, the former Cass County Missouri Law Enforcement Center and Detention Center is over 10,000 square feet of stark concrete with three cell blocks and 34 cells.

But a buyer has a big vision for the space with plans to operate it as a “nationally recognized jail-themed entertainment, retail and lodging complex.”

The prison really is already nationally recognized, too. It was featured on Saturday Night Live just last weekend.
